In een door COVID-19 volstrekt omgeslagen arbeidsmarkt helpt het wendbare Shell-medewerkers om vast te stellen welke jobs op de interne en externe arbeidsmarkt passend en kansrijk zijn. Hier helpt de Job Navigator bij. Met de Job Navigator steken gebruikers een thermometer in hun loopbaan en met behulp van 'nudges' (duwtjes in de goede richting) activeert het digitale instrument de gebruiker om te werken aan leuk werk.
Oké. En hoe werkt de Job Navigator dan?
Aan de hand van prikkelende vragen en soms harde (maar altijd goedbedoelde!) feedback helpt de Job Navigator potentiële job-switchers inzicht te krijgen in hun persoonlijkheidskenmerken, geeft ze perspectief, biedt ze houvast en daagt ze uit. Op deze manier worden gebruikers zich niet alleen bewust van wie ze zijn, wat ze kunnen en waar hun krachten liggen. Ook worden gebruikers van de Job Navigator zich bewust van hun kansen op de en mogelijkheden op een door het Corona-virus sterk wijzigde in- en externe arbeidsmarkt.
En wat kan ik met de resultaten?

Do you want to get a sense of what your motivation kicks and motivation killers are and how they relate to your commitment? Then you can use the Job Reflector for that purpose. Useful for yourself to find out what drives you at work, especially when you realize that you spend most of your life at work. The job experience dashboard is also very useful for your conversations with your line manager, mentor or coach about your career.
What can I do with the results?
What you do with the results is of course entirely up to you. What we would recommend anyway is to discuss the results, for instance by scheduling a conversation via the application. But you can also bring it in to your next IDP conversation. Does your manager (or someone else, if you prefer this – think of the Internal Coach Pool), recognize the results and if so, why? How could you do something with this and what can you agree in your Individual Development Plan (IDP)? The Job Reflector may help...
And what does it cost?
The costs for the scan are €80,- exclusive VAT. You can use your Personal Development and Care Budget (POZB) for this purpose. You initially pay for the scan yourself and can then claim the costs via your POZB. Read more about this on the POZB page on HR Online.
If you fall under the CAO SNR/SNC, you can use the CAO POZB. NAM employees make use of a separate scheme.
